It has to be an honest objective, yet still an objective that the leaders of the academia can find appealing. It is important to be original when writing such an objective, and resist the use of clichés as they reflect badly on the position-writer, and make the resume come across as ‘unauthentic.’
The third thing that an education resume has to have – and this is the core of it – is a chronological record of the position-seekers educational achievements. These have to be written in the ‘language of academia’ if the position seeker is to come across to the readers of the resume as a ‘professional colleague’ they would love to have around them.
The final thing that an resume has to have, and this is also highly important, is a referees section. The type of referees one quotes when seeking a position in an educational institutions have to be people that the academic leaders can respect (taking note that the leaders of the academia are usually very selective on whom they give what regard). Not to forget, referees have to people who know the position-seeker personally, as some personal questions might be asked, too.
